Workshop Paintings
I travel the country teaching art workshops monthly. During these classes I teach the components of technique, structure, sunlight, shadow, creativity, etc. While teaching and doing various creative exercises, I create a finished painting daily for the students. The demonstration painting will have a primary focus exaggerating one of the structure components, such as impact area, unity, value change, etc. These paintings serve as a guide for the students so they generally are an exaggeration of one or more of the points needed for a successful painting. I develop a specific set of images used for workshop paintings that I repeat from time to time.
